Megamind -Not So Bad After All

Quick doodle turned full on pic (the lazy kind with no inking though haha) of Megamind and Roxanne from the Dreamworks movie Megamind.

Edit: Oh, and about mega's outfit, lol. I kinda imagine this being after the movie end, and Megamind make's himself a new outfit, lol. I imagine he would go back to the popped collar look (cuz it's hawt ), but I imagine that Roxi would make him get rid of all the spikes XDD I mean, every time that she jumped to hug him or whatever during the movie, I winced internally, expecting her to get stabbed by all those little spikes XD

Edit Edit: Did I mention how much I love Megamind's purple ears? Cuz I do...

So I watched this movie for the first time the night before last...and I fell saucer over teacup in love T____T So much so that I watched it again last night...and now I'm just gonna have to buckle down and go watch it in theaters so I can see the high quality version, that's how much I love it D8

Two good movies in a row, Dreamworks? Holy crap! haha

But yeah, animation was lovely, characters were fantastic, there was at least one twist that I didn't see coming, which actually surprised me because I'm normally really good at seeing that sort of thing coming lol. Granted, I also didn't have the movie spoiled for me by the adverts and trailers floating around. I don't have cable, so before I watched the movie itself, I think I saw like...one tv spot for the movie, and it didn't give anything away.

Dreamworks should really be smacked for their moronic advertisements of this great movie though. I watched some today just out of curiosity...and they were AWFUL. Seriously, how do you make such a good movie seem so crappy in previews??? Most movies have the opposite problem, look good in previews and crap in reality...odd. Not to mention they gave away a lot of the plot, shame on them! They need to fire their advertising dept that's for sure.

Kudos to Dreamworks on the amazing animation done on Megamind's face, though. I mean seriously, I loved how delightfully expressive he was. It was so much fun to watch him and all his crazy, exaggerated facial expressions XDD <3

Anyhoo, I'll stop ranting now. SERIOUSLY THOUGH, go see this movie! Don't let the crappy commercials put you off! It had action, comedy, drama, and a lovely romance.

One thing I really liked is that the whole Megamind/Roxi romance developed during the film, rather than Mega having a pre-existing crush on Roxi which is what most films would have done I think. Also, really liked that they didn't make Megamind one of those idiot inventor types...I mean yeah, he's ridiculous and can never beat metroman, but his inventions are awesome, and more importantly, they work, so he really is a legit genius, which is nice, aha.
